It started in 2022 as a tour for one album. It ends this month as the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist: more than $1 billion, over 7.5 million tickets and 153-plus shows, according to the tour's own figures.

The final leg is in Asia, and its last stops are the two closest to India.

The last six shows

  • Hong Kong, Kai Tak Stadium: 24, 25, 30 and 31 October. The first two nights were added after the original pair sold through, which makes Hong Kong the longest single-city run of the Asia leg.
  • Kuala Lumpur, National Stadium Bukit Jalil: 4 and 5 November. The finale.

Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts support on most dates. The setlist runs across the trilogy of After Hours, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow. Live Nation produces the tour.

The VIP fine print

Harper's Bazaar Malaysia lists the Kuala Lumpur VIP tiers. Gold VIP is RM2,088 and Ultimate VIP is RM2,888. The Ultimate package includes a photo taken on the stage where he'll perform, which the package spells out comes with no artist participation. So you'll stand where Abel stands, just without Abel. Read your packages carefully, people.

Why Indian fans are booking flights

Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur are both short flights from Indian metros, and The Weeknd has not announced an India date on this tour. For a lot of fans, this is the nearest the biggest tour of the decade gets.

GIST Access is arranging seated and VIP categories with hotels and transfers for both cities. See options and prices.
