He announced it from the stage at Wembley. Of course he did. Diljit Dosanjh, the first Punjabi artist to headline London's Wembley Stadium, used that night in September to tell the crowd where he was going next: the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on 21 November.
That one date has now become a full India leg of the Aura World Tour.
Every date and venue
- 1 November · Delhi-NCR · Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
- 15 November · Indore · C21 Estate
- 21 November · Ahmedabad · Narendra Modi Stadium
- 27 November · Mumbai · Mahalaxmi Race Course
- 29 November · Bengaluru · NICE Grounds
- 5 December · Lucknow · 19th National Jamboree Grounds
- Chandigarh · seventh show, date to be announced
How the tickets work
Tickets are sold on BookMyShow, which is co-producing and promoting the India leg with Live Nation. A RuPay credit card presale runs first. For Ahmedabad, listings started at ₹999.
Business Today puts the Narendra Modi Stadium's capacity at around 1.32 lakh. That makes Ahmedabad the night to watch: no Indian artist books the world's biggest cricket ground to play to empty tiers.
What he'll play
ThePrint lists G.O.A.T., Ikk Kudi, Lalkara, Lover, 5 Taara, Case and Water among the songs expected on the setlist.
Why it matters
The Aura tour started in April in Vancouver and has since run through North America, the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, including Madison Square Garden. His last India run, Dil-Luminati in 2024, was a sell-out story and a ticket-scam story at the same time. Expect demand on the same scale, so buy only on the official platform. (More on that in our guide to not getting scammed on sold-out shows.)
